Privacy policy
In short: Pratsemetr has no accounts, forms or ads. We do not use tracking cookies; we count visits with a simple Cloudflare tool that sets no cookies, and we do not sell data. Below is exactly what is processed, and why.
Who is responsible for the data
The editor, Vasyl Grygorovych, runs pratsemetr.com (“Pratsemetr”). He decides how and why the data described below is processed, so he is the data controller (under the GDPR) and the owner of the personal data (under Ukrainian law). Contact: ivascori@gmail.com.
We follow Ukrainian personal data protection law and, where it applies to you, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
What we process
| Data | Why | Legal basis | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Technical data of a request: IP address, date and time, page address, browser and device type, and the country derived from the IP address. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, receives it automatically. | So that pages open, and to protect the site from attacks and abuse. | Legitimate interest in running a secure site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). | As set by Cloudflare in its own policy. We keep no visitor logs of our own and see only summary statistics in the Cloudflare dashboard (number of requests, countries). |
| Anonymous visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics): page address, the site you came from, country, device type, browser, operating system and page-load speed figures. | To see how many people visit the site, which pages they read and whether pages open quickly. | Legitimate interest in improving the site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Cloudflare uses no cookies or local storage for this and does not identify individual visitors. Measurement is switched off for visitors from the EU. | Kept by Cloudflare in aggregated form, as set in its own policy. We see only the totals in the Cloudflare dashboard. |
| Correspondence: your email address, your name if you give it, and the text of your message. | To answer you and, if needed, correct an error on the site. | Your request and our legitimate interest in answering (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). | As long as needed to reply and fix the issue; earlier if you ask us to delete it. |
| Your theme choice (light or dark). | To remember what you picked. | A function you chose yourself. | Only in your own browser (local storage, key “theme”) until you clear it. It is never sent to us. |
What we do not do
- We do not ask you to register and we do not collect data through forms.
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, tracking pixels or social media widgets. The only analytics is Cloudflare’s simple visit statistics without cookies (see the table above).
- We do not sell data or pass it to advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not load fonts, maps or scripts from third-party servers. The one exception is the measurement script from Cloudflare itself, our hosting provider; everything else is hosted on this site.
- We do not make decisions based on automated profiling.
Cookies and local storage
Pratsemetr itself does not set any cookies. The only thing the site stores in your browser is your theme choice, in local storage. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage either. That is why we do not show a cookie consent banner.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set technical cookies if it runs an extra security check (for example cf_clearance or __cf_bm). They exist only to protect the site and are not used for advertising. You can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings; the site keeps working.
Who receives the data
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): hosting, content delivery network and protection against attacks. Cloudflare runs a global network, so technical data may be processed in several countries, including outside Ukraine and the EU. For such transfers Cloudflare relies on its certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and on EU standard contractual clauses.
- Google LLC (USA): the Gmail mailbox where correspondence is kept.
- No one else, unless the law requires us to give data to a competent authority.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data about you we process, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict the processing or object to it, and to receive your data in a portable form. To use these rights, write to ivascori@gmail.com. We will answer without undue delay and within the time limits set by law. We may need to confirm that the message really comes from you.
Because we keep no visitor logs ourselves, we usually cannot link technical request data to a person; for that data Cloudflare’s own tools and policy apply.
Complaints
If you think we have violated your rights, please write to us first and we will look into it. You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (ombudsman.gov.ua); in the EU, the data protection authority in your country of residence. You can also go to court.
Children
Pratsemetr is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Security
All pages are served over a secure HTTPS connection. The site is static: it has no user database, login or server-side forms, so there is very little that could leak.
Links to other sites
The site links to data sources and company websites (Derzhstat, the State Employment Service, LinkedIn, OnHires, H2J, Crowe Mikhailenko and others). They have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
Changes
If we start processing other data (for example, by adding other analytics tools, forms or ads), we will update this page and its date before the change takes effect.
