Why is the salary in vacancies lower than the average? Through the Employment Service people are hired mostly for blue-collar jobs, in retail, in services and in public-sector bodies. Derzhstat's average salary describes all full-time employees of large and medium-sized enterprises. These are different groups of people, so the numbers cannot be compared directly. More.
The Employment Service also publishes an average offered salary: UAH 15,747 at the end of August 2026. It is calculated from 50,559 vacancies, without data on military personnel, so it differs from the median in the list.
